Back next week

Hi Everyone,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused over the last week but thank you for your patience and understanding. My son has been quite ill in hospital and as you can appreciate as parents, my place was to be with him. We are home now and ready to return to some “normality”. The program that I had planned for the children during that time has continued in my absence.

Next Wednesday is our excursion and I am sure that all the students are looking forward to it. Please return all the consent and medical forms asap.

It is funny how a time confined in hospital makes you miss the little things like the internet and my own bed. I have missed the class terribly and look forward to seeing their smiling faces and hearing their laughter.

See you all on Monday.

Cheers

Week 3 Be Active Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Coming home tonight is the form for week 3 of the ‘Be active’ challenge. Can all students please return week 1 and week 2 forms next week. If I do not have the forms back they are not classed as having participated in the challenge. A reminder that next Tuesday is a pupil free day. I have placed next week’s spelling words on the spelling page ready. These words will be tested on the following Tuesday. We have had fun learning about the planets in our solar system and at this stage Venus has been the most popular planet to learn about. Ask your children “Why is Venus the hottest planet in the solar system?” In maths we have continued working on mapping skills and directions. The children have learnt that you have to be very clear when giving directions.

Enjoy the long weekend.

Cheers
