Spelling

Hi Everyone,

Each week we will have new spelling words to learn and the students will be tested on Friday mornings. They are learning a new routine associated with this. I randomly split the class into two groups, either A or B, so that they could not copy off of each other, and I truly knew what they do or don’t know. I have stapled a score sheet into the front of the communication book. This is purely to inform you, and I do not wish for this to become stressful for the children. These scores only form a small part of the Literacy assessment. The learning habits and skills that they learn through this will help them in future years of schooling.

Thank you for your support.

Cheers

Karina

This week’s show and tell

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all have had fantastic holidays, and I look forward to hearing all about them, as this week’s show and tell topic is ‘What I did on my holidays’. I will send home the rest of the show and tell topics for this term later this week. Hopefully we are all over the sickness that troubled us at the end of last term!

Cheers
